Perhaps you're down or anxious - maybe you're unsure about the future of a relationship, or just feel that you aren't living the life you were meant to lead. Whatever your needs may be, I am here to offer support.
Therapy is a process of growth and self-discovery, and in my sessions I promote behavioral transformation by encouraging a positive outlook and the adoption of new attitudes and reactions.
I have the tools and professional experience to help you get back on track. During sessions I will utilize a combination of approaches in order to help you better help yourself: DBT, CBT, Solution Focused, Seeking Safety, Trauma, Grief Therapy, Person Centered to name a few.
I worked in substance abuse treatment and acute psych for 11 years. In doing that, I have worked on the multitude of underlying core issues relating to mental health that result in maladaptive behaviors.
Targeting the core issues results in changing thoughts, and thereby behaviors. No matter what your core issue/s is/are, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, suicidal thoughts, I will be able to walk with you on your journey. I want to be a beacon of support in your life.
